Changes to Supported Countries

Due to new restrictions imposed on card issuers, we can no longer provide virtual Visa cards to people living outside of the European Economic Area and to users in Norway.

1. Am I affected by this?

You are not affected if:
Your address in your Entropay account settings is in a country in the European Economic Area (excluding Norway):
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

You are affected if:
Your address in your Entropay account settings is in a country not listed above.

2. How am I affected?
If you live in a country outside of the EEA or in Norway:
  • From 13 August 2018 you will no longer be able to top up your Entropay cards from a debit or virtual card.
  • On 31 October 2018 all of your Entropay cards will be cancelled. All money remaining on your Entropay cards on this date will be deposited into your Entropay wallet where you can withdraw it.

3. Why did this happen?

Visa imposed new restrictions on card issuers that restricts us from providing virtual Visa cards to anyone living outside of the European Economic Area and residents of Norway. Although this development is outside of our control, we are very sorry that we cannot continue providing you with Entropay cards.

4. What will happen to my money?

When your Entropay cards are deleted on 31 October 2018, any money remaining on them will be transferred to your Entropay wallet. You can withdraw it from your Entropay wallet to your bank account or to an existing debit or credit card any time. There is no deadline for withdrawing your money and until you do it will remain safely in your account.
